Alcôve is a beautiful new family run French gastro restaurant and cocktail bar (previously known as the Medicine Chest).

Conveniently situated close to Brighton’s seafront and Brunswick Square, Alcôve is only a short distance from the main shopping area on Western Road.

The owner & Head Chef, Sébastien Dupire has over 25 years experience and most recently was the Head Chef at the Medicine Chest. Sébastien and his wife Mireille will continue to build upon the high standards and reputation that the Medicine Chest lay the foundations for.
 
We offer a selection of modern and classic dishes, on both our à la carte and set menu's. All our food is locally sourced from local suppliers based in Sussex.

We can cater for everything from an intimate dinner for two, parties in the bar/restaurant, or you can book the entire venue for your event with a bespoke menu to suit your needs. Please contact us for more information.
